I’m at Las Cruces International Airport, where the first day of the 2008 Northrop Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge is underway. Armadillo is up first to attempt Level 1 with its Mod-1 vehicle. TrueZer0 is scheduled for the midday slot for Level 1, then Armadillo will use Pixel this afternoon for Level 2, if all goes according to plan. (But when does that ever happen?) Stay tuned for occasional updates during the day here or on Twitter.
Hey Jeff,
Thank you so much for blogging this. I am a big fan of the LLC, although I never have had a chance to attend. I feared that online coverage would suffer greatly as a result of the closed to the public status of this year’s event. Last year I really enjoyed the many bloggers who stepped in to cover the gap in last year’s official coverage of the event. Is anybody else covering this year’s besides you that you know of? Thanks, Charles Dickson
Jeff — partial answer to my own question for anybody out there who sees this, it looks like the place to be is the llc twitter feed: http://search.twitter.com/search?q=ngllc. Any other “old school” bloggers that you’ve met up with? Where’s Wired?
